Netbooks can run higher editions of Windows 7. It is just that Windows 7 is new and that makers of Netbooks are too mean to install a higher version of Windows 7 on them. Because they want to keep costs low and even full sized laptops only get Windows 7 Home Premium if they are lucky, nothing more.
